McCann Worlgroup names Adrian Botan as Global Creative Partner, Creative Excellence
Adrian Botan was named global creative partner for creative excellence by McCann Worldgroup. He was previously global executive creative director and chief creative officer for Europe. This action demonstrates the network’s dedication to creative excellence for its clients and brands.

Adrian will also retain his European leadership role while continuing to lead McCann Worldgroup’s Mastercard creative globally, reporting to Javier Campopiano, chief creative officer, of McCann Worldgroup and McCann.
Botan began his career at D’Arcy Romania before becoming an art director at McCann Erickson in 1998. He has worked for the company in a variety of roles over the years. In his role as Global Executive Creative Director, Botan was in charge of Mastercard’s European operations as well as the global Nestle account.

Botan’s previous endeavors
Adrian has led European creative teams in 29 different countries while serving as McCann’s chief creative officer for Europe, fostering innovation and creative excellence. With his broader responsibilities, he will help McCann Worldgroup find and seize the largest creative opportunities for the network’s most significant global clients and brands.
