Spotify, the world’s leading music streaming platform, has promoted Neha Ahuja to the role of Director – Growth, JAPAC, where she will spearhead the platform’s expansion across Japan, Korea, Australia, and Southeast Asia, driving the organic growth of both free and premium users.

Previously serving as Director and Head of Marketing for Spotify India, Neha played a pivotal role in launching the platform in India. She built local organizational capabilities, led marketing initiatives, and drove sustained consumer engagement, establishing Spotify India as a market leader within four years of launch.

In her new regional role, Neha will oversee growth strategies encompassing marketing, product-market fit, payments, and data-driven experimentation, all guided by cultural insights to deliver enhanced user adoption and engagement across the JAPAC region.

Neha brings over 20 years of experience in marketing and growth leadership across FMCG, telecom, and media & entertainment sectors. She began her career at Procter & Gamble, where she managed oral care brands and drove market share growth, and later moved to Vodafone, serving as Vice President – Marketing and Partnerships. Her extensive experience combines strategic marketing, brand development, and consumer growth, making her ideally positioned to drive Spotify’s JAPAC expansion.

With Neha Ahuja’s promotion, Spotify strengthens its leadership in the Asia-Pacific region, underlining its commitment to delivering innovative, data-driven growth strategies and enhancing the music streaming experience for users across multiple markets.
