Sony LIV has announced a new global distribution partnership with YouTube TV and YouTube Primetime Channels, allowing audiences across the United States, United Kingdom, France, Germany and Australia to subscribe to the platform directly through YouTube’s interface. This collaboration strengthens Sony LIV’s international reach, bringing its diverse catalogue to regions where viewers increasingly consume entertainment via YouTube.
As part of the partnership, Sony LIV’s slate—including acclaimed originals such as Scam 1992, Maharani, Tanaav, Rocket Boys, Mayasabha and The Hunt, along with a wide selection of films and TV shows—will be accessible as an independent subscription on both YouTube TV and YouTube Primetime Channels.
The service will be offered through monthly plans tailored to each region: AUD 13.99 in Australia, €8.49 in France and Germany, £7.99 in the UK and $7.99 in the US. Subscribers will also benefit from consolidated billing directly within YouTube, streamlining access for the Indian diaspora and global audiences seeking South Asian entertainment.
