Sonal Kabi Elevated To Director & Head Of Marketing For APAC & ANZ At Amazon Prime Video

Sonal Kabi has taken on an expanded leadership mandate at Amazon, stepping into the role of Director & Head of Marketing, Prime Video & Amazon MGM Studios for the APAC and ANZ regions. She shared the update through a LinkedIn post, marking a new phase in her journey with the streaming giant.

Announcing the development, Kabi wrote, And yet, it still feels like we are just getting started. Stepping into 2026, I also take on an expanded role as Director and Head of Marketing, Prime Video & Amazon MGM Studios – APAC & ANZ.”

Before this elevation, Kabi served as Director and Head of Marketing for Amazon Prime Video, where she played a key role in shaping the platform’s marketing strategy and brand presence.

Earlier in her career, Kabi was associated with Netflix as Director – Marketing. During her tenure, she led high-impact campaigns for titles such as The Railway Men, Chamkila, Heeramandi, and The Great Indian Kapil Show, among others.

Her professional journey also includes stints with Shuttl, McDonald’s, Star TV Network, and Leo Burnett, giving her a well-rounded background across media, entertainment, FMCG, and advertising.

With her expanded responsibilities across APAC and ANZ, Kabi will now oversee marketing strategy for Prime Video and Amazon MGM Studios, driving growth and audience engagement across diverse international markets.
