What’s one thing you’ve always wanted to learn or try but haven’t had the chance to yet?

I’ve always wanted to learn how to fly and become a pilot. The idea of navigating the skies has always fascinated me. While I didn’t pursue it as a career, I’m grateful for the opportunity to experience the joy of flying as an avid traveler, exploring new places and perspectives around the world.

What’s a defining career moment that shaped your perspective and the professional you are today?

Sometimes, all it takes is a mentor to change everything. Mentorship and sponsorship have been a game-changer in my career. I’ve been fortunate to have incredible mentors – —those who listen, empower, and advocate for your growth. They’ve shaped my journey in ways I never imagined. Find someone who believes in you, and watch your life transform. Even a single piece of meaningful guidance can have a lasting impact and influence how we navigate our careers.

If you weren’t in this industry, what would you be doing?

I would most definitely be a commercial pilot.

How do you stay motivated during tough or challenging times?

By focusing on the bigger picture, celebrating even the small wins, and leaning on my support system, I am able to stay grounded. Staying calm also helps me navigate challenges more effectively. I remind myself of past achievements, which demonstrate my ability to overcome obstacles. Practicing gratitude – —focusing on what I have rather than what I lack – —helps me stay grounded.

How can companies foster a more inclusive and supportive environment for women leaders?

Implementing structured mentorship and sponsorship programs, where women leaders are actively guided and advocated for ensures equal opportunities for leadership roles. Creating a culture where women feel heard, valued, and empowered is essential. Leadership no longer needs to fit a traditional mold. It’s inspiring to see organizations challenging stereotypes and embracing diverse leadership styles, especially those emphasizing empathy, collaboration, and emotional intelligence.

In your opinion, what is the most essential skill for women to develop in today’s fast-changing business world?

Adaptability and resilience are essential. Embrace change, keep learning, and challenge the status quo. Find your tribe – — a supportive ecosystem that will always have your back. Allow yourself to make mistakes – it builds character and strength.
