Shruti Nishchal has been appointed Director, Human Resources Business Partner – Ads, Marketing & Partnerships at Netflix, marking a new phase in her leadership journey with the company. In her new role, she will drive strategic people partnerships to support Netflix’s fast-growing advertising, marketing, and partnerships functions across the region.
Nishchal brings nearly six years of progressive HR leadership experience at Netflix. Prior to this appointment, she served as Senior Manager, HRBP – Product, Legal & Finance, APAC, where she worked closely with senior leaders across product, finance, and legal teams in the Asia-Pacific region. Earlier, she was based in Mumbai as an HR Business Partner, supporting rapidly scaling business units during Netflix’s expansion in India.
Before joining Netflix, Nishchal spent over five years at Qualcomm, where she managed diverse HRBP and talent development portfolios. Her responsibilities included serving as Lead HR Business Partner for Qualcomm India’s business teams and the Noida Technology Centre, Talent Development Partner for software and business organizations, and Diversity & Inclusion Lead for India, where she helped build leadership development and DEI frameworks.
Earlier in her career, she held HR leadership roles at Axis Bank as Senior Manager – Talent & Organisation Development and at Titan Company Limited as Assistant Manager – Learning and Development, focusing on organizational capability building and retail learning ecosystems. She began her professional journey as a Management Trainee under the HRDP programme at Tata Sons, following early project experiences with EY and PepsiCo.
Across her career, Nishchal has established a strong track record in supporting high-growth organizations through strategic HR partnering, leadership development, and culture-building initiatives across technology, media, and financial services sectors.
