Omnicom Advertising Group (OAG) has announced Sean Donovan as its new President for the Asia division. Previously President of TBWA\Worldwide’s Asia operations, Donovan steps into this role after over five years of leading the network’s regional growth and navigating challenges like the pandemic.
Donovan will report to OAG’s global CEO, Troy Ruhanen, and collaborate closely with the group’s international agency leaders. Expressing his enthusiasm for the new role, Donovan stated,
“I am beyond happy that my journey continues with all the pirates and clients of TBWA\Asia in this new role.”
Donovan commented through a LinkedIn post.
Bringing decades of leadership experience, Donovan has held senior positions at TBWA\South Africa and TBWA\Hunt Lascaris and co-founded OpenCo, later acquired by TBWA. His appointment aligns with OAG’s launch in August 2024, uniting Omnicom’s creative networks, including BBDO, DDB, and TBWA, under a consolidated leadership to deliver innovative and integrated creative solutions for clients.
