Schneider Electric has named Bhavna Verma as Vice President – Strategy and M&A for its Greater India operations. She steps into the role previously held by Damini Chaudhari, who has transitioned to Vice President – Services.
Verma’s appointment marks her return to Schneider Electric, where she earlier contributed as Exports Director in the M&A Integration Office and held pivotal roles in Strategy and Sales Excellence. Her rejoining reinforces the company’s commitment to strengthening its leadership capabilities and ensuring smooth succession planning in key strategic areas.

In this position, Verma will oversee Corporate Strategy, Software Strategy, Sales Excellence, and CSR for the Greater India zone. She will be instrumental in shaping and executing the organisation’s medium- and long-term strategic plans.
With over 17 years of leadership experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, M&A, and marketing, Verma has a proven track record of driving both organic and inorganic growth strategies. Her career spans roles at Cargill, Honeywell, EY, and Schneider Electric. Most recently, she led strategy, category marketing, and product management for Cargill’s Food Solutions business.
The appointment reinforces Schneider Electric’s focus on strengthening its strategic leadership in the Greater India region, which continues to be a significant growth market for the company globally.
