Siemens Energy India Limited has appointed Sangita Ghalay as the new Head of Communications, bringing with her nearly 30 years of strategic expertise across corporate communications, brand reputation, media relations, CSR, and crisis management.

Ghalay’s extensive career spans respected organisations including Vedanta Group, Honeywell, Avantha Power & Infrastructure Limited (APIL), Avantha Group, Encyclopaedia Britannica, Inc., The Tobacco Institute of India, and Highlanders Communication. Over the years, she has played a pivotal role in shaping reputation strategies, strengthening brand narratives, and driving communication programs across sectors such as energy, manufacturing, technology, FMCG, and development.

Her portfolio includes building award-winning CSR initiatives at Honeywell, leading strategic communication and reputation programs for Vedanta’s Semiconductor & Display and Aluminium verticals, driving national advocacy efforts at The Tobacco Institute of India, developing content and education narratives at Encyclopaedia Britannica India, and overseeing large-scale communication integration at Avantha Group.
