Sakshi Kohli Mehta has taken on a new role at WPP Media as Senior Business Director – Experiential Marketing, following an extensive career across leading media, brand experience, and activation-driven organisations. She announced her transition through a LinkedIn post.
Before moving to WPP Media, Mehta served as Deputy General Manager at Hindustan Times from September 2024 to November 2025. During her tenure, she played a key role in integrated marketing planning, branded content initiatives, IP creation and monetisation across print, digital, radio, and on-ground platforms. She also crafted category-first marketer playbooks and helped launch thematic properties such as Nai Dishayein, HT Education Supplements, and Retail Icons.
Prior to Hindustan Times, Mehta spent over six years at dentsu X, serving as Senior Business Director (August 2022–August 2024) and Business Director (August 2018–August 2022). Her work spanned esports initiatives, experiential campaigns, sponsorships, influencer and celebrity associations, and multi-platform activations across categories like automotive, technology, and lifestyle. She led major projects including Toyota Gazoo Racing, Coolwinks x IPL, and Lakmé Fashion Week.
She also worked at Wavemaker as Group Head in 2018, and earlier spent more than three years at MEC, where she handled media investment strategy, integrated campaigns, branded event integrations, and content-led IPs for FMCG, auto, and tech clients. Key projects included Citibank Digital Diwali, Times Now Amazing Indians, and multiple youth-focused campus properties.
Mehta’s earlier career includes roles at Diamond Publications, where she managed large consumer events such as Grah Laxmi Kitty Party; Sports & Leisure Worldwide, where she oversaw events like Panasonic Open India and Haryana Golf Festival; and Adsert Web Solutions, where she contributed to properties like Realty Plus Conclave and MQ Media Quiz. Her career began in operations, working on events like the Agency and Media Cricket League.
Her appointment at WPP Media brings deep expertise in experiential marketing, integrated brand solutions, and large-scale activation platforms—strengthening the company’s experiential capabilities.
