Rohit Talwar Resigns As Castrol India’s VP And Head Of Marketing

After a longstanding association with Castrol India, Rohit Talwar has stepped down from his role as Vice President and Head of Marketing. His resignation will be effective August 8, 2025, concluding a career with the company that spans over two decades.

Talwar’s journey with Castrol began in 2004 as a Management Trainee. Since then, he has taken on multiple leadership roles across geographies and business verticals—including Sales Manager, Bikes Brand Manager, Cricket Sponsorship Activation Manager, and Global Brand Manager for the Commercial Vehicles Category, where he was pivotal in launching Castrol VECTON, a globally recognized brand.

In 2017, Talwar returned to Castrol India in a senior marketing capacity. Over the years, he took on responsibilities as Head of Brand and Communication and later as Deputy VP of Marketing. Most recently, his contributions extended beyond India as he spearheaded marketing efforts for Castrol Vietnam, successfully navigating B2C and B2B segments.

He was appointed VP and Head of Marketing at Castrol India on November 1, 2023, succeeding Jaya Jamrani. In this role, Talwar played an important part in shaping the brand’s strategic marketing roadmap, focused on growth, innovation, and customer-centric value.

Talwar’s exit marks the end of a rich and impactful chapter at Castrol, as the company prepares for its next phase of leadership in marketing.
