Reema Jain has taken on the role of Chief Information Officer (CIO) at Unilever. Announcing the development on LinkedIn, she described the transition as an opportunity to further strengthen the impact of artificial intelligence and technology in driving business outcomes.
With more than 20 years of experience in IT and digital transformation, Jain has spearheaded large-scale transformation initiatives across global capability centres and country-level operations. Her expertise covers cloud infrastructure, artificial intelligence, data analytics and DevOps-led delivery models.
Jain previously worked at Unilever from May 2016 to May 2021 before returning to the company in May 2025.
Prior to rejoining Unilever, she spent over three years as Chief Information and Digital Officer at Hero MotoCorp. During her tenure, she led digital strategy and technology modernisation efforts across the organisation.
Over the course of her career, Jain has also held senior leadership positions at Vodafone and General Electric.
In addition, she has served on the board of Hero MotoCorp Magneti Marelli Auto Limited — a joint venture between Hero MotoCorp and Marelli — and was a board observer at Ather Energy.
