Accenture has announced the elevation of Raghavendra Rao to Managing Director, Global Head of Analyst Relations and Network of Centers, Marketing and Communications. With an impressive career spanning over 27 years in marketing, communications, and public relations, Rao’s new role marks another significant milestone in his long-standing journey with the company.
In his expanded role, Raghavendra Rao will lead Analyst Relations globally, while also overseeing Marketing and Communications across Accenture’s extensive network of operations and centers worldwide. His elevation underscores Accenture’s commitment to strengthening its global marketing leadership and strategic communication initiatives.

Prior to this elevation, Raghavendra Rao served as Managing Director – Marketing + Communications Lead, Accenture Operations and Centers from February 2022 to November 2025, where he played a key role in enhancing marketing visibility and communication strategies across India and global delivery centers.
From December 2018 to January 2022, Rao held the position of Managing Director, Marketing and Communications, Technology at Accenture, where he was responsible for shaping marketing and communications strategy for Accenture’s technology business.
Earlier in his career, Rao worked as an Independent Marketing Consultant (2002–2003), advising organizations on corporate image and public relations initiatives. He also held senior communication roles at Deutsche Software (Deutsche Bank Group), IPAN (a Hill & Knowlton associate), and Weber Shandwick, gaining deep experience in corporate communications, media relations, and strategic reputation management.
With his diverse background across agency and corporate environments, Rao continues to be a driving force in integrating strategic communications, brand positioning, and stakeholder engagement across global platforms.
