Publicis Groupe Partners Decentriq To Build Privacy-First AI And Data Collaboration

Publicis Groupe has announced a partnership with confidential data collaboration platform Decentriq to advance privacy-first artificial intelligence across marketing, media, and data.

Through this collaboration, the companies will develop a new framework for secure data collaboration using a zero-copy model. This approach ensures that sensitive first-party data is never moved or duplicated, enabling Publicis to work with confidential information while maintaining full control and protection of raw data.

Decentriq’s platform keeps data encrypted at all times, allowing organisations to perform secure analytics and activate insights without the risk of data leakage. The infrastructure supports continuous experimentation and learning, helping teams explore AI-driven insights, measurement, and decision-making as new technologies and use cases emerge.

Publicis will also gain access to the Decentriq Partner Network, which connects advertisers, publishers, technology providers, and data partners to enable collaborative innovation.

The two companies have previously worked together on projects for multinational clients, typically supporting measurement collaboration between brands, publishers, and retailers. The new partnership expands this relationship at a broader, strategic level.

This collaboration will complement Publicis’ identity platform Epsilon, which remains central to its data and customer insight strategy.

Scott Hagedorn, Chief Solutions Architect at Publicis Groupe, said: “AI innovation only works when it is built on trusted foundations. This partnership supports our ambition to enable advanced analytics and AI-driven intelligence in a way that is secure, neutral and aligned with the expectations of clients, partners and regulators.”

During the early phase of the partnership, Publicis has been developing AI agents that operate on collaborative data networks to generate insights, define audiences, improve measurement, connect identity with media, and increase transparency in marketing outcomes.

Maximilian Groth, Chief Executive and Co-founder of Decentriq, said: “Responsible AI requires collaboration without compromise. Our platform is built to enable organisations to unlock the value of their data for advanced analytics and AI while preserving privacy, control, and neutrality.”
