Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL) has announced the appointment of Priya Nair as its next Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, effective August 1, 2025. She will succeed Rohit Jawa for a five-year term, subject to shareholder and regulatory approvals.
Nair currently serves as Business Group President – Beauty & Wellbeing at Unilever, leading a €13 billion portfolio across more than 20 markets. A seasoned HUL leader, she has helmed iconic brands such as Dove, Rin, and Comfort, driving digital-first marketing, influencer-led innovation, and category transformation.
Previously, as Executive Director – Home Care (South Asia), she led a successful business turnaround through value innovation, sustainability, and premiumisation.
A commerce graduate from Sydenham College and an MBA from SIBM Pune, Nair has also completed executive education at Harvard Business School. She will join the HUL Board and continue as a member of the Unilever Leadership Executive.
