IPO-bound OYO parent company Oravel Stays has officially rebranded itself as Prism, serving as the umbrella organization for its diverse global travel and hospitality portfolio. The new identity aims to unify its brands while preserving the unique essence of each.
In a letter to shareholders, OYO Founder and Chairman Ritesh Agarwal stated,
“Our OYO brand will continue to serve as the highly recognisable, consumer-facing identity for budget and midscale travel, a space it has defined and clearly marked, with a solid impression globally. Prism, in turn, assumes the role of the parent brand, uniting a diversified ecosystem that spans premium hospitality, extended-stay residences, celebration venues, luxury getaways, and experiential living concepts.”
Agarwal explained that the rebranding marks the creation of a “clearer and more future-ready corporate architecture,” aligning the company’s growing portfolio with its strategic vision.
He also clarified that OYO will continue as the consumer-facing brand, representing budget and midscale travel globally. Prism, as the parent entity, will encompass a wide range of offerings including premium hospitality, extended-stay residences, celebration venues, luxury getaways, and experiential living concepts.
The name Prism was chosen through a global public naming competition that received over 6,000 submissions.
Founded in 2012, OYO serves over 100 million customers across 35+ countries. Its extensive portfolio includes:

Extended-Stay Properties: Studio 6 via G6 Hospitality (US)
