Nippon Paint Elevates Mark Titus As President – Decorative Business In India

Nippon Paint India, part of the NIPSEA Group and a wholly owned subsidiary of Nippon Paint Holdings, Japan, has appointed Mark Titus as President – Decorative Business, effective December 1, 2025. In this role, he will oversee the company’s decorative coatings portfolio in India and will report directly to Sharad Malhotra, Managing Director, Nippon Paint India Group.

Mark takes over from Mahesh S. Anand at a time when India continues to be a priority growth market for the organisation. With rising home improvement demand, a young consumer base, and steady infrastructure expansion, the Indian decorative paints landscape offers strong potential for continued growth.

With more than 20 years of cross-industry experience, Mark Titus brings deep marketing, brand, and business expertise from FMCG, beverages, and the paints and waterproofing categories. His work across fast-moving consumer sectors has shaped his strengths in brand strategy, consumer understanding, and high-impact execution. During his tenure at Nippon Paint India, he has played a crucial role in advancing the decorative business through market expansion, differentiated offerings, and enhanced digital engagement. Recognised for his forward-thinking leadership and focus on talent development, he has built a culture that emphasises efficiency, empowerment, and consistent performance in a highly competitive market.

As President – Decorative Business, Mark will lead the strategic roadmap across product innovation, channel development, brand building, and digital transformation. He will prioritise strengthening partner ecosystems, improving the value chain through sustainable and efficient practices, and leveraging Nippon Paint’s global technologies to deliver strong differentiation in the market.
