Monks, part of S4Capital, has appointed Bharti Agrawal as Chief Financial Officer for the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region, reinforcing its leadership team as the company continues to strengthen its footprint across the region.
Agrawal will be based in Singapore and will report to Jordi Covas. In this role, she will oversee financial strategy, governance and operational management across APAC, while working closely with regional leaders to drive sustainable growth, improve operational efficiency and support transformation initiatives as Monks expands its integrated Marketing and Technology Services capabilities across Asia-Pacific.
Welcoming the appointment, Covas said the company is pleased to have Agrawal join at a crucial phase of its regional expansion. He noted that her experience in managing multi-market finance operations and leading organisational transformation would play a key role in strengthening Monks’ momentum and leadership in Asia-Pacific.
Before joining Monks, Agrawal served as Southeast Asia CFO at Dentsu International, where she managed a finance team across six markets and oversaw around 200 indirect reports. In that capacity, she handled financial reporting, forecasting, growth initiatives and transformation projects within a complex regional organisation.
Earlier in her career, Agrawal worked in Transaction Services and M&A at KPMG in both Brazil and the United Kingdom. During this period, she advised corporate and private equity clients on buy-side and sell-side transactions, cross-border deals and capital market engagements across industries including telecommunications, media, food and beverage, hospitality and energy.
Commenting on the appointment, Kenny Griffiths said Agrawal’s addition to the leadership team comes at a time when Asia-Pacific is playing an increasingly significant role in the company’s global growth strategy. He added that her experience navigating complex regional environments and her collaborative approach will support Monks’ efforts to scale operations, deepen client partnerships and build a more agile organisation across the region.
