Metro Brands has named Harshvardhan Chauhaan as its Chief Marketing Officer and part of the senior management team, effective February 23, 2026. The appointment was formally announced through a regulatory filing submitted to both the BSE and the National Stock Exchange of India.
In his new capacity, Chauhaan will report directly to CEO Nissan Joseph and will be responsible for steering the company’s overall marketing strategy and brand direction.
Bringing over 18 years of experience, Chauhaan has led marketing and business initiatives across sectors including retail, fashion, lifestyle, grocery, home, and e-commerce. Prior to joining Metro Brands, he served as Global Chief Marketing and Brand Officer at Trident Group.
Throughout his career, he has held leadership roles at organisations such as Bharat YEF, RPSG Group, DLF Shopping Malls, ShopClues, Godrej Group, Reckitt Benckiser and Accenture, building expertise across diverse consumer-driven businesses.
With this appointment, Metro Brands aims to further strengthen its marketing leadership and accelerate brand growth in an increasingly competitive retail landscape.
