Mantis, a leading provider of contextual advertising solutions with built-in brand safety and suitability, today announced a strategic partnership with the Brand Safety Institute (BSI), the US based community of practice dedicated to advancing brand and people safety across the advertising industry. The partnership supports Mantis’s continued expansion into the US market and further aligns both organisations in their mission to promote safer, more transparent and responsible digital advertising environments.
As part of the partnership, publishers will be able to visit the BSI website to request a free Brand Safety Benchmark Snapshot, a quick report that evaluates how their URLs are perceived by blocklists and additional safety measures. From there, publishers can also access more comprehensive reporting, enabling them to better understand and improve their brand safety practices.
The BSI’s mission is to continuously drive a healthy and sustainable advertising ecosystem by raising awareness of brand and people safe practices through thought leadership, community, education, and certification. By teaming up with BSI, Mantis will help drive greater clarity, consistency and accountability around how publishers’ environments are assessed by buy-side blocklists and safety tools.
“Partnering with the Brand Safety Institute is a natural extension of our mission to promote a more responsible and transparent digital marketplace,” said Fiona Salmon, Managing Director at Mantis. “Together, we’re helping US publishers better understand how they are evaluated, while supporting advertisers in accessing safer, more suitable environments at scale.”
“This collaboration is anchored in shared values, with both Mantis and the Brand Safety Institute advocating for a healthier, more sustainable advertising ecosystem, one that protects audiences, empowers publishers, and gives advertisers confidence in the environments where their messages appear,” commented Neal Thurman, CEO and Co-founder, at BSI. “The new Brand Safety Benchmark Snapshot feature on our Publisher Quality Utility will be another fantastic resource for publishers to access convenient and quick reporting, with actionable information to help optimize their advertising strategy and operations.”
