Dell Technologies has named Manish Gupta as the new President and Managing Director for its India operations. His appointment is effective immediately.
Gupta, who brings more than 25 years of experience in the IT industry—including a decade with Dell—will lead the company’s growth strategy and drive business momentum across the Indian market. Operating from Bengaluru, he will report directly to Peter Marrs, President of Dell Technologies for the Asia Pacific Japan & Greater China (APJC) region.
He steps into the role following the departure of Alok Ohrie, who is moving on to focus on family and personal pursuits.

Gupta’s journey with Dell has seen him lead several key functions, including global alliances, partner ecosystems, and strategic growth for the APJC region. He also played a pivotal role in shaping the Infrastructure Solutions Group in India—contributing to Dell’s footprint in the country.
