McCann Worldgroup has welcomed back Mae Ng as Chief Client Officer of McCann China, where she will play a key role in enhancing the agency’s client-centric strategy. Ng will provide valuable client insights to address market demands and drive McCann’s commitment to delivering greater brand value in China.
With over 20 years of experience in brand communication, Ng brings a dual perspective from both the brand and agency sides, enabling her to deeply understand and meet client needs in today’s dynamic business landscape. Her expertise in brand strategy will help translate agency capabilities into strategic growth drivers for brands.
Before rejoining McCann Worldgroup, Ng served as Marketing and Communications Director for Bottega Veneta Greater China, leading the brand’s regional marketing strategy. Prior to that, she played a pivotal role at McCann in shaping brand strategy and communication partnerships for L’Oréal Paris (China).
Ng has a proven track record of guiding top-tier global brands across Lifestyle, Beauty & Personal Care, Hospitality & Entertainment, Automotive Lubricants, Consumer Electronics, and FMCG sectors. Her work has earned multiple international accolades, including the Asia Marketing Effectiveness Awards, APAC Effies, Clio Awards, and the Unilever Global Marketing Excellence Award.
Beyond her leadership in brand strategy, Ng is a passionate advocate for AI and AGI in marketing. She believes emerging technologies will revolutionize content creation, streamline processes, and enable data-driven, personalized brand experiences while preserving emotional engagement at scale.
Carter Chow, McCann Worldgroup Greater China CEO, said:
