Amazon Ads has announced the departure of Krishan Bhatia, who has exited his role as Vice President – Global Video Advertising & Partnerships, effective September 2025. Bhatia shared the update on his LinkedIn profile.
Bhatia joined Amazon Ads after an illustrious career spanning leadership roles across the global media and advertising landscape. Prior to Amazon, he was President & Chief Business Officer, Global Advertising & Partnerships at NBCUniversal from 2020 to 2024, where he successfully led global advertising strategy, partnerships, and revenue growth initiatives.
From 2011 to 2020, he served as EVP, Business Operations & Strategy at NBCUniversal, driving advancements in audience measurement and operational efficiency. Earlier, from 2005 to 2011, he was Senior Vice President at Comcast Interactive Media, where he spearheaded digital expansion and platform development.
Bhatia began his professional journey in 1996 with Booz Allen Hamilton as Principal of the Global Media & Entertainment Practice, where he spent nine years advising leading media and entertainment clients.
Alongside his executive roles, Bhatia has been deeply involved in shaping the advertising industry through his board leadership. In 2025, he served on the Global Board of Directors at MMA Global. He was Chairman of the Board at IAB (2019–2024) and a member of the Board of Directors at OpenAP (2018–2024). He also contributed as a Board Observer at tvScientific and Anzu.io (2022–2023).
Bhatia’s exit marks the close of another chapter in a distinguished career that has influenced global advertising, partnerships, and digital transformation across some of the world’s leading media organizations.
