In a move aligned with its mission to champion equitable education, Kotak Education Foundation (KEF) has appointed noted educationist and National Award winner Kavita Sanghvi as its new Director of Education.
With a career spanning decades and a proven track record of pioneering education reform, Sanghvi brings deep academic expertise and leadership to KEF. Prior to this appointment, she served as the Principal of SVKM’s CNM School in Mumbai. She also holds multiple academic degrees—Master’s in Physics, Education, and Philosophy of Education—and has completed the Advanced Educational Leadership Program at Harvard University.
At KEF, she will lead the charge in curriculum development, strategic education programs, educator capacity building, and innovation-driven initiatives—all aimed at transforming learning in under-resourced communities.
Her work speaks for itself: from developing the Global Outlook STEAM curriculum to creating the widely adopted Build Your STEM Competency course, Sanghvi has been a force for systemic change and inclusive learning.
