Kaustubh Chandra has announced his exit as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) of Airtel Business, the B2B division of Bharti Airtel, marking the end of an almost five-year association with the company. He shared the update through a LinkedIn post, reflecting on his journey and the people he worked with during his tenure.
In his post, Chandra wrote, “My airtel story is captured in these photos — people, smiles, and moments that stayed with me. #ThisGoodbyeIsTough.”
He further added, “As my beautiful ~5 year-long journey with #Airtel (Business) comes to an end today, the only lessons I am taking back with me are the ones that came from the people I worked with. hashtag#MyTeam, a rock-solid team, is where I drew my strength from and time and again they’ve shown the power of being one. Everything we’ve built at Airtel Business, the brand, the voice, the growth we’ve seen over the last five years, has been a culmination of their energy, and I couldn’t be more proud of the heights we reached together. So thank you. Thank you for shaping this wonderful journey, one that’s closest to my heart because of you.”
During his time at Airtel Business, Chandra played a key role in shaping the brand’s identity, voice, and growth trajectory in the B2B space. His leadership contributed to strengthening the business’s market positioning and marketing strategy over the years.
Before joining Airtel Business, Chandra spent more than four years at NTT Ltd., where he held senior leadership positions. His career also includes stints at organisations such as IBM India Pvt. Ltd., Dion Global Solutions Ltd., and Religare Technologies Ltd., giving him wide-ranging experience across technology and enterprise-focused businesses.
