JioStar has announced the appointment of Pranav Kunkalienkar as Associate Director – Corporate Communications, strengthening its communications leadership.
Kunkalienkar joins the organisation following his tenure with Rajasthan Royals, where he worked as Manager – Corporate Communications and PR from March 2025 to February 2026. In that role, he handled communications initiatives related to the franchise and its activities in the Indian Premier League ecosystem.
Sharing his thoughts while announcing his departure from Rajasthan Royals on LinkedIn, Kunkalienkar wrote: “If I’m honest, I’ve been rewriting this in my head for days. It’s difficult to say goodbye to a place where the work mattered, but the people mattered more. As I wrap up my chapter with Rajasthan Royals, I don’t first think about campaigns or coverage reports…”
Prior to his stint with Rajasthan Royals, Kunkalienkar spent more than three years at Disney Star as Assistant Manager – Corporate Communications (Sports), where he was associated with the organisation between 2022 and 2025.
Earlier in his career, he worked with MSLGroup as Senior Account Executive, managing communications mandates. His professional journey also includes roles at KOOH Sports, Rendezvous Sports World, and Universal Hunt, where he gained experience across marketing, business development, and consulting functions.
