Duroflex Limited, one of India’s leading sleep and comfort solution companies and home to trusted brands Duroflex and Sleepyhead, has announced the appointment of Jacob George as its new Chairman and Managing Director (CMD). The leadership transition marks a pivotal moment in the company’s journey toward its next phase of innovation and growth.
Jacob George succeeds Mathew Chandy, who led Duroflex through a decade of remarkable transformation and expansion. Chandy will continue his association with the organization as a Whole-Time Director, supporting strategic initiatives and governance.
The elevation, approved by the Duroflex Board of Directors, strengthens the company’s leadership team as it continues to focus on innovation, operational excellence, and consumer-centric growth.
With over a decade of leadership experience within Duroflex, Jacob George has played an instrumental role in steering strategic projects and business expansion. As Whole-Time Director – Growth & Strategy (2018–2022), he led the company’s expansion into western India, scaled manufacturing operations in central India, and drove digital transformation initiatives. He also forged key brand partnerships, including associations with major IPL franchises, enhancing Duroflex’s visibility and brand equity.
