IPG Mediabrands has announced the promotion of Paras Mehta to the role of Senior Vice President, India, underscoring the agency’s strong confidence in his leadership and expertise within the digital and programmatic advertising ecosystem.
Previously served as the Business Head of Matterkind India, a specialized digital agency under the IPG Mediabrands umbrella. Over the past five years, he has been instrumental in leading data-driven programmatic initiatives and developing advanced Addressable Programmatic strategies that have positioned Matterkind as a frontrunner in innovative advertising solutions.
Since joining IPG Mediabrands in 2019, Mehta has tackled performance and optimization challenges across both publishers and advertisers, helping shape the agency’s digital trajectory. His leadership and analytical acumen have played a pivotal role in establishing Matterkind as a pioneer in India’s programmatic space.
Earlier this year, Mehta briefly transitioned to IPG’s Global Capability Centre (GCC) in Pune. With his latest promotion, he returns to a key leadership position at IPG Mediabrands India, where he will be responsible for driving platform integration, accelerating digital growth, and scaling strategic initiatives across the Indian market.
Before leading Matterkind, Mehta held several senior roles at Cadreon, IPG’s ad-tech arm in the APAC region. There, he played a crucial part in developing programmatic strategies tailored to diverse markets, adding valuable depth to his industry experience.
This leadership move comes at a time of broader strategic shifts within IPG Mediabrands, in parallel with global developments across the media and advertising industry.
