InMobi Appoints Reneta Kripalani As Global Head Of Marketing Communications, Consumer And D2C

InMobi has announced the appointment of Reneta Kripalani as its new Global Head of Marketing Communications, Consumer and D2C. With a career spanning across some of the most transformative marketing and brand-building roles in the industry, Kripalani brings with her a wealth of experience across digital, commerce, and consumer-first strategies.

Before joining InMobi, Kripalani was Vice President of Marketing at Z47, where she played a significant role in shaping brand narratives and driving growth in emerging digital domains.

Sharing her thoughts on this new chapter, Kripalani reflected:
“Through my journey so far, I’ve been lucky to be part of some incredible shifts—Unilever’s digital transformation, Amazon’s content-commerce evolution, Purplle’s rise in D2C beauty. And now, AI feels like one of the biggest shifts yet, a moment that’s changing how we tell stories, build trust, and shape decisions in ways we’re just beginning to understand.”

She further added:
“Over the last couple of years, I’ve had the chance to work closely with AI-first businesses and see this transformation unfold up close. It’s been exciting, humbling, and full of learning.”

Kripalani began her professional journey at Encompass Events and has since held pivotal roles at reputed organizations including Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide, Unilever, Network18, and Purplle.com.

At Hindustan Unilever Limited, as Assistant Brand Manager, she collaborated with the South Asia R&D team on the development of a new Brylcreem product range and led the redesign of 2D packaging informed by deep consumer insights. Her work ensured the new packaging met key consumer expectations in testing. She also led a successful consumer engagement initiative for Sunsilk, responding to over 200,000 hair care queries via IVRS — further demonstrating her passion for customer-centric brand building.

With this appointment, InMobi continues to strengthen its marketing leadership as it sharpens its focus on innovation, storytelling, and digital growth across consumer and direct-to-consumer verticals globally.
