In a significant step toward strengthening ethical practices in India’s influencer marketing ecosystem, the Indian Influencer Governing Council (IIGC) has onboarded Dr. Ashish Bajaj, Group Chief Marketing Officer at Narayana Health, to its Advisory Board under the newly formed Influencer Category.
Dr. Bajaj joins a growing league of marketing leaders supporting IIGC’s mission to bring structure, credibility, and accountability to influencer-brand collaborations. His appointment follows the recent inclusion of Riya Joseph, General Manager – Media at Britannia, and Rajiv Dubey, Head of Media at Dabur India—both respected media leaders known for their strategic vision and deep industry insights.
As IIGC builds momentum, it continues to bring together influential voices across sectors to guide the future of digital influence in India. The council has already introduced the country’s first “Code of Standards” and established a dedicated Task Force to ensure operational accountability and resolve disputes within the ecosystem.
With a strong foundation now forming, Dr. Bajaj’s presence is expected to further IIGC’s mission of fostering responsible, inclusive, and transparent influencer marketing in the country—driven by integrity and long-term impact.
