Pavanjit S Bedi has stepped into the role of Chief Marketing Officer – Foods at Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL), marking a new milestone in his long-standing career with the company.

Reflecting on his new mandate, Bedi described the Foods portfolio in India as one that combines ‘cultural relevance, scale and the opportunity for reinvention’. He added that as consumer behaviour continues to evolve, the focus will be on building brands that remain trusted while also reflecting changing preferences.

Bedi has been associated with Unilever for over two decades. Prior to this appointment, he served as Global Brand Vice President, a role he held for more than four years, during which he spearheaded the global rebrand and transformation of Glow & Lovely.

Over the course of his career, Bedi has worked extensively in the Beauty & Personal Care segment, managing leading brands such as Dove, Pears, Lifebuoy and Pond’s across diverse markets including India, Africa, the Middle East, and Latin America.

His elevation underscores HUL’s continued focus on strengthening leadership within its Foods business while driving brand growth in a dynamic consumer landscape.
