Havas has finalized the acquisition of Unnest, a prominent data consulting and engineering firm in France known for its end-to-end capabilities in building and deploying large-scale data platforms. The move further enhances the data, tech, and analytics strength of Havas Media Network’s global division, CSA, and accelerates the group’s Converged.AI strategy aimed at supporting brands through digital transformation.
Established in 2021 by Nicolas Chollet and Mehdi Moreau, Unnest has quickly gained recognition for its deep technical expertise, strong delivery capabilities, and ability to implement high-value solutions. With specialist teams across Data and Cloud Engineering—spanning Google Cloud Platform, Azure, Snowflake, Amazon Cloud—and AI, Unnest expands Havas’ Business Science practice and boosts its ability to roll out sophisticated data solutions at scale. The company currently serves clients across sectors including retail, travel, beauty, automotive, and luxury.
Through this acquisition, Unnest’s capabilities will integrate with CSA Data Consulting, DBi, and TED Consulting, forming a unified team of 120 data specialists in France. Backed by CSA’s global network, these enhanced Business Science solutions will be deployed across domestic and international markets.
While joining the Havas group, Unnest will continue to operate with its technological independence and agility, strengthened by Havas’ strategic alliances and client ecosystem.
Yannick Bolloré, Chairman and CEO, Havas, said, “We are thrilled to welcome Nicolas Chollet, Mehdi Moreau, and the entire Unnest team to the Havas family. Their technological expertise will be a valuable addition to the acceleration of our Converged.AI strategy. They will help drive the adoption of AI solutions across our client base, addressing strategic and operational challenges while maintaining the highest standards of excellence.”
Yoann Denée, Chief Data Officer Havas France and President of Havas Data Business Intelligence, added, “Integrating Unnest into our Business Science ecosystem enhances our ability to deliver increasingly advanced tech solutions and to address the growing challenges our clients face in transforming their businesses through data, AI, and automation.”
