Havas Ortega Promotes Gian Angelo Dela Cruz to Creativity and Experience Lead, Strategy Director

Manila, 10 November 2025Havas Ortega, one of the leading fully integrated communications agencies in the Philippines, has announced the promotion of Gian Angelo Dela Cruz to Creativity and Experience Lead and Strategy Director, underscoring the agency’s commitment to insight-led creativity and human-centered brand experiences.

In his expanded role, Dela Cruz will spearhead the integration of creativity and experience across Havas Ortega’s disciplines, fostering stronger collaboration between strategy, media, data, PR, and creative teams. His goal will be to drive meaningful, cohesive brand experiences that connect deeply with audiences.

He will continue to lead the Strategy & Insights Group, which defines the agency’s business, brand, and communications strategy through data-driven insights and cultural intelligence.

With over 14 years of experience in advertising and communications, Dela Cruz has led campaigns for top brands including Sun Life, Big E Corporation, Philippine Airlines, Reckitt, and SM Retail, while also co-leading regional campaigns across Southeast Asia. Since joining Havas Ortega in 2017, he has been instrumental in shaping the agency’s strategic direction and driving thought leadership on Prosumer mindsets around sustainability, health, and subcultures.

Among his standout achievements is the award-winning campaign “The Kita Initiative,” which exemplified his ability to combine cultural insight with creative storytelling.
