GymNation Unveils the World’s Heaviest Billboard in Dubai to Promote Its New Strongman Class

GymNation, the UAE’s leading affordable fitness brand, has unveiled what it claims to be the world’s heaviest permanent billboard to mark the launch of its new Strongman class at GymNation Mirdif.

Weighing a staggering one tonne, the innovative billboard installation has been crafted from forty weight plates joined together — a creative tribute to strength, power, and endurance. The campaign not only captures GymNation’s bold brand spirit but also reinforces its position as one of the most disruptive and community-driven fitness brands in the Middle East.

According to Rory McEntee, Chief Marketing Officer at GymNation, this campaign is unlike any other seen in the UAE’s outdoor advertising scene.

“Advertising in the UAE needed a lift so we took that literally,” McEntee said. “The result is the world’s heaviest billboard, built to celebrate strength in every form. It was a massive job, spotters were required to put it up, but thankfully no hernias were reported during the installation. “

This hefty outdoor campaign was designed to promote GymNation’s newly launched Strongman class, which takes inspiration from The World’s Strongest Man competition. The class features a variety of strength-based exercises, including Deadlifts, Tyre Flips, Log Presses, and Farmer’s Walks, all tailored to help participants build raw power and endurance.

“The Strongman class has been formulated in collaboration with our expert Fitness Instructors, and members can expect to shift some serious heavy loads – designed to bring out the inner strong man and woman in all of us,” said McEntee.

GymNation also humorously advised onlookers to keep a safe distance from the colossal installation, stating that those passing by should “stay outside the perimeter tape.”

The Strongman Class will be held every Saturday at 10 AM at GymNation Mirdif, and bookings can be made through the GymNation website.
