World Gulab Jamun Day began on 10/10/2020 when Gits dedicated this day to honor the iconic dessert, with the zeros in the date symbolizing the round, sweet perfection of gulab jamuns. Since then, October 10th has become synonymous with the celebration of this beloved treat, as Gits leads the charge in making World Gulab Jamun Day a yearly tradition cherished by dessert lovers. 

This year, Gits takes a humourous and imaginative approach to celebrate the iconic dessert, Gulab Jamun with a whimsical Digital Video Campaign (DVC) featuring internet’s beloved Gulab Jamun Uncle, an endearing character played by actor Naresh Gosain, who just can’t resist his favourite dessert—gulab jamuns.

With his natural charm and impeccable comedic timing, Gulab Jamun Uncle is the perfect choice to bring Gits’ World Gulab Jamun Day campaign to life. His love for the dessert shines through in the DVC, making him the ideal fit to lead this sweet celebration.

In this lighthearted and quirky DVC, Gulab Jamun Uncle’s world transforms into a Gulab Jamun wonderland, with everything around him magically turning into gulab jamuns! 

The ad culminates with him checking the calendar and realising about World Gulab Jamun Day, after which he calmly returns to enjoy a real Gits Gulab Jamun, showcasing its irresistible charm.
