 
          Flipkart has appointed Akash Jain as its new Director of Marketing, Head of Media. Jain announced his appointment on LinkedIn, marking a key milestone in his nearly decade-long journey with the company.
In his new role, Jain will lead Flipkart’s digital and ATL (Above The Line) media strategies, overseeing both its core business and emerging verticals, including the recently launched quick commerce initiative, Flipkart Minutes. His primary focus will be on driving innovative advertising campaigns and optimizing media strategies to strengthen Flipkart’s position in India’s competitive e-commerce landscape.
Jain has been with Flipkart for almost seven years, previously serving as Head of Media – Associate Director. During this time, he played a pivotal role in shaping media strategies across key categories such as mobiles, electronics, appliances, fashion, and beauty. He also contributed to enhancing the media presence of emerging sectors like health, fintech, and grocery.
Prior to joining Flipkart, Jain gained valuable experience in digital marketing at Odigma (an Infusion company) and founded ContentKulture.in, a platform focused on coupons and giveaways. His extensive background in media and marketing is set to drive Flipkart’s strategies to greater success.
