FCB Aotearoa has announced the promotion of its Chief Executive Officer, Paul Wilson, to the role of Group CEO, marking a significant milestone in the agency’s leadership journey.
Wilson, a highly awarded and respected agency leader, joined FCB more than two and a half years ago and has since played a pivotal role in driving the agency’s success across New Zealand and beyond. With over 20 years of experience in advertising and brand leadership, he has advised some of the region’s most iconic and trusted brands, including Mitre 10, Air New Zealand, Mercury, Four Square, PAK’nSAVE, Toyota, Fonterra, Instant Kiwi, Heineken, and BNZ.
Prior to FCB, Wilson served as Managing Director at TBWA\New Zealand and spent eight years at Saatchi & Saatchi, where he rose through the ranks from Business Director to Managing Director. At Colenso BBDO, he held the role of Joint Head of Account Management and led the agency’s largest account, BNZ. His career began at DDB New Zealand, where he spent five years building strong client partnerships and brand impact.
With Wilson stepping into the Group CEO position, FCB Aotearoa reaffirms its commitment to creativity, effectiveness, and client success, further consolidating its position as a leading force in New Zealand’s advertising and marketing industry.
