Divya Parkhi Joins WPP Media As Client Lead

Divya Parkhi has taken on a new role as Client Lead at WPP Media, marking a significant step forward in her media leadership journey. She confirmed the appointment through a LinkedIn update, sharing that she assumed the role in December 2025 and is currently based in Maharashtra, India.

Before joining WPP Media, Parkhi was associated with GroupM, where she served as Senior Director – Planning from August 2021 to December 2025. In this role, she handled strategic media planning and played a key part in driving integrated media solutions for clients.

Her professional journey also includes experience across multiple GroupM agencies. She worked as Group Manager at Lodestar UM between August 2020 and July 2021, and prior to that spent over three years at Wavemaker as Business Manager from January 2017 to August 2020.

Earlier, Parkhi was Senior Business Manager at MediaCom from October 2015 to December 2016, managing media mandates for brands such as Skoda, CarWale, Wyeth, and Siemens. She also served as Media Manager – Planning at OMD between May 2012 and April 2015.

Parkhi began her career in media research and planning, with early roles at Star India (now Disney Star) as a Research Associate, and at Sony Entertainment Television as an On Air Scheduling and Research Consultant. She started her professional journey as a Media Planning Trainee at Mudra Communications in Ahmedabad.

With over a decade of experience spanning media research, planning, and client leadership, Parkhi now steps into her new role at WPP Media, where she will focus on strengthening client partnerships and delivering strategic media solutions.
