Dheeraj Sinha, who has been serving as CEO of FCB Group India, has now been named the new CEO of McCann Worldgroup India. His appointment comes on the heels of the recently completed Omnicom–IPG merger, announced on November 26, 2025. Sinha had taken over the leadership of FCB India in November 2023, succeeding Rohit Ohri.
Earlier today, Omnicom unveiled its strategic roadmap and leadership structure for the newly combined organisation after finalizing the acquisition of Interpublic.
During his tenure at FCB India, Sinha oversaw a diverse network including FCB Ulka, FCB Interface, FCB Kinnect, FCB Neo, and others. He is widely credited with driving significant new business wins—most notably securing the KFC mandate. Under his guidance, FCB India delivered an outstanding creative performance at Cannes Lions 2025, winning 10 Lions, contributing to the network’s global tally of 56.
Sinha joined FCB in November 2023 after an impactful stint at Publicis Groupe, where he served as CEO of Leo Burnett South Asia and Chairman of BBH India. His leadership spanned Leo Burnett, Leo Burnett Orchard, BBH, Publicis Business, and Publicis Health.
At Publicis Groupe, he led a transformation that elevated Leo Burnett from a mid-tier player to one of India’s top-ranking agencies, nearly doubling its scale. Around 30% of the agency’s revenue during his leadership came from major new clients, including PepsiCo, IKEA, Airtel, Spotify, among others.
