Dentsu India has announced two strategic leadership appointments, reinforcing its commitment to innovation and excellence. Sujata Dwibedy has been promoted to CEO of dentsu X, while Jose Leon takes on the role of CEO, Retail Media Business. Both leaders will continue reporting to Anita Kotwani, CEO Media, South Asia, dentsu.

As the newly appointed CEO of dentsu X, Sujata Dwibedy will leverage her 26 years of industry expertise across strategy, planning, research, buying, and innovation to shape the agency’s next chapter. Her mandate includes delivering integrated excellence across media, technology, and creative services while fostering transformative partnerships and achieving superior client outcomes.

His primary focus will be on collaborating with retailers to create incremental revenue streams while integrating AI-driven solutions to enhance media efficiency. With extensive expertise in deep tech, commerce, and digital consulting, Leon brings strategic insights from his leadership roles at Adobe, Publicis, and dentsu X, where he previously served as CEO.
