Her focus on mentorship and creating inclusive environments provides important lessons for thriving in today’s evolving business landscape.
What’s one thing you’ve always wanted to learn or try but haven’t had the chance to yet?
I’ve always adapted quickly but tend to take a traditional approach with technology. I haven’t fully explored tools like AI yet, but I’m eager to learn and grow in that area. Continuously learning from my work and improving my tech knowledge—especially in AI—is my key focus moving forward.
“In a world of rapid technological change, the key to growth is embracing learning—one step at a time, especially when it comes to tools like AI.”
What’s a defining career moment that shaped your perspective and the professional you are today?
I don’t believe there’s a particular defining career moment for me. I’ve learned and grown with every project, as each one brings new challenges and opportunities. However, if I had to highlight a significant time, it would be during the COVID-19 pandemic. While many businesses were struggling and people were being laid off, I saw it as an opportunity to think differently and explore new avenues. It taught me to embrace challenges as chances for growth and reinforced my belief that professional development comes from continuous learning, regardless of the circumstances.
“Every project is a chance to learn and grow. Challenges aren’t roadblocks; they are the opportunities that shape us as professionals.“
If you weren’t in this industry, what would you be doing?
Honestly, I’ve never really considered another path. This industry—direction and filmmaking—is where my heart has always been. From the beginning, I’ve been deeply passionate about it and have worked tirelessly to pursue it. I truly believe this industry was made for me, and I was made for it.
“This industry wasn’t just a career choice for me—it’s where my heart has always been. I was made for it, and it was made for me.”
How do you stay motivated during tough or challenging times?
Challenges are a part of every journey, and I face them daily. But I truly believe that opportunities are everywhere—it’s all about how you choose to see them. When I’m feeling down, I allow myself to feel it in the moment, but I make sure to shift my mindset quickly. Motivation doesn’t always come from outside; you have to find it within yourself. In tough times, it’s up to you to lead, motivate your team, and stay focused. If you find yourself surrounded by negativity, step away from it and focus on the positivity and opportunities around you.
“In the toughest moments, it’s not external motivation that matters—it’s about shifting your mindset and finding the opportunities that lie within the challenge.”
How can companies foster a more inclusive and supportive environment for women leaders?
As a woman leader, I make it a point to support the women and girls in my company, ensuring they are well-trained, informed, and confident. For me, creating an inclusive and supportive environment starts with emotional connection—being present, listening, and offering guidance when needed. It’s about being open, approachable, and making them feel understood. Throughout my career, I’ve looked up to female teammates, particularly in creative fields, and have always made an effort to motivate and mentor them. I want women to feel strong, have their voices heard, and never let anyone overshadow them. These small acts of encouragement can make a big difference in building a more inclusive and supportive workplace.
“Creating an inclusive environment starts with listening, connecting emotionally, and empowering others to speak up and be heard.”
In your opinion, what is the most essential skill for women to develop in today’s fast-changing business world?
In today’s fast-changing business world, confidence is crucial. You need the capability to handle anything that comes your way. First and foremost, you must understand your own skills—only then can you truly excel. Continuously question yourself, identify your strengths, and focus on mastering them. Confidence in your work is key to moving forward. Beyond that, hard work and dedication are often the most overlooked yet essential qualities. If you have those, success is within reach, no matter where you are.
“Confidence in your skills, dedication to your work, and the relentless drive to improve are the essential ingredients for success in today’s ever-changing business world.”
