Birlasoft, a global IT services and consulting firm, has announced the reappointment of Angan Guha as its Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Managing Director (MD) for a second two-year term. The board approved the reappointment at its meeting on September 27, 2025. Guha’s new term will commence on December 1, 2025, following the completion of his current term on November 30, 2025.
The reappointment comes on the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee and remains subject to statutory approvals. Under Guha’s leadership, Birlasoft has seen strategic growth, scaled operations, and undertaken significant transformation initiatives.
Before joining Birlasoft, Guha served as CEO for the Americas 2 Strategic Market Unit at Wipro and was a member of its Executive Board and Group Executive Council. An electronics engineer from the University of Pune, he also holds an executive management certificate from the Booth School of Business, University of Chicago. The company confirmed that Guha has not been debarred from holding office as a director by SEBI or any other authority.
