BharatPe Appoints Ajit Kumar as Chief Technology Officer

BharatPe, the leading financial services and UPI payments platform, has announced the appointment of Ajit Kumar as its new Chief Technology Officer (CTO). In this role, Ajit Kumar will spearhead BharatPe’s technology strategy, innovation roadmap, and platform scalability, further strengthening the company’s payments and lending ecosystems.

Proven Technology Leadership

Ajit Kumar brings over 19 years of experience in building and scaling large-scale fintech platforms, with a strong focus on UPI and bill payments systems. Before joining BharatPe, he served as Senior Vice President – Engineering at Paytm, contributing significantly to the development of large-scale fintech infrastructure. He has also held senior leadership roles at Snapdeal (Shopo), Times Internet, and SAP Labs, driving technology-led transformation and innovation across multiple digital ecosystems.
