Amazon launches standalone low-cost shopping app ‘Amazon Bazaar’ in over a dozen new markets

Amazon has rolled out Amazon Bazaar, a new low-cost shopping destination for Asia, Africa, and Latin America, expanding the reach of its popular Amazon Haul experience to 14 additional markets.

Available as a standalone app on Android and iOS, Amazon Bazaar offers hundreds of thousands of affordable products, with most priced under $10 and some starting as low as $2. The app is now live in Hong Kong, the Philippines, Taiwan, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, Peru, Ecuador, Argentina, Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, Jamaica, and Nigeria, with more destinations to follow in the coming months.

The new app operates separately from Amazon’s main platform and mirrors the value-first shopping experience of Amazon Haul, which continues to serve customers in the U.S., UK, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Japan, and Australia. In other markets such as Mexico, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE, Amazon has already introduced the low-price offering under the Bazaar name.

By launching a dedicated app, Amazon is stepping up competition with low-cost shopping platforms like Shein, Temu, and TikTok Shop, which have gained traction with younger and value-conscious shoppers.

Amazon Bazaar features familiar tools like customer reviews, star ratings, and multilingual support, while offering an interactive, entertainment-driven shopping experience through social lucky draws and special promotions. Orders typically arrive within two weeks, and customers can enjoy free delivery on qualifying purchases, free returns within 15 days, and 50% off their first order as an introductory offer.

The app supports six languages—English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, German, and Traditional Chinese—and accepts Visa, Mastercard, and American Express for payments in local currencies.

Amazon says the launch reinforces its ongoing commitment to providing customers with affordable prices, trusted service, and convenient shopping worldwide.
