Meta has announced the appointment of Aman Jain as its new Senior Director & Country Head, Public Policy in India, where he will lead the company’s policy strategy, regulatory engagement, and long-term policy roadmap for the market. Jain will assume the role early next year and will report to Simon Milner, Vice President of Policy for the Asia Pacific region. He will also be part of Meta’s India leadership team.
Bringing more than two decades of expertise across public policy, strategy, and digital ecosystem development, Jain has held influential positions across Amazon, Google, the Government of India, and global institutions. At Google India, he served in multiple senior capacities, including Country Head for Government Affairs & Public Policy. His most recent role was Director of Public Policy at Amazon, where he oversaw policy efforts in areas such as marketplace operations, technology, competition, and logistics.
He shared the news on Linkedin, stating ” I’m excited to share that I’ll be joining Meta next month as Senior Director & Country Head, Public Policy.”
Commenting on the appointment, Simon Milner, Vice President of Policy, Asia Pacific, said, “India is a strategic market for Meta.
