Alex Lubar, who most recently served as the Global CEO of DDB Worldwide, has assumed the role of Chief Executive Officer at Fundamentalco. Lubar announced his move through a LinkedIn update, marking a new chapter in his leadership journey.
In his announcement post, Lubar expressed his enthusiasm about joining the company, stating, “Very excited to join Jonny Bauer and the immensely talented team at FUNDAMENTALco; a truly unique operation that understands the power of brand-led value creation.”
He also extended heartfelt gratitude to his former colleagues at DDB, saying, “Thank you to the unbelievable DDB community across the globe that I had the privilege of leading these last two years. Your creative genius is only outmatched by your collective grace..”
Lubar’s tenure at DDB began in 2022 when he stepped in as President and COO. He was elevated to the role of Global CEO in October 2023. Before joining DDB, he spent nearly a decade at McCann Worldgroup in key leadership positions.
His move to Fundamentalco signals a strategic shift for the company as it continues strengthening its brand, strategy, and value-creation capabilities under Lubar’s leadership.
