Akshay Dhody has been elevated to the role of Business Director at dentsu X, capping off an impressive run of four promotions since he first joined the agency in 2017. With over eight years of rich experience spanning media strategy, integrated marketing solutions, and client success, Dhody has consistently climbed the ranks by driving results and leading from the front.

In his most recent stint as Associate Business Director (April 2023 – July 2025), Dhody played a pivotal role in steering strategic planning and media delivery for marquee clients. Before that, he served as Group Head (July 2021 – April 2023), where he was at the helm of campaign planning and cross-functional team leadership. His journey with dentsu X began in October 2017, where he quickly stood out for his contribution to account growth and execution excellence.
Prior to joining dentsu X, Dhody spent over a year at Mediabrands, where he built his early career in media planning and client servicing—first as a Management Trainee (June 2016 – April 2017) and then as Business Manager (May 2017 – October 2017).
