Aerem Solutions has announced the appointment of Nilesh Malani as Executive Director, strengthening its leadership team as the company expands its presence in the green-tech sector. In his new role, Malani will oversee the company’s Consumer Business, Marketing, and Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) e-commerce operations.
Malani joins Aerem Solutions with more than two decades of experience across marketing, brand building, and business leadership roles in leading organisations. Most recently, he served as Global Chief Marketing Officer at Waaree Group, where he played a key role in brand development and supported the company’s IPO journey. During his tenure, he also worked on business development initiatives for the flexible solar modules category.
Before joining Waaree Group, Malani held the position of Chief Marketing Officer at Polycab India Limited. There, he established the company’s marketing function and led initiatives across the Wires and FMEG categories. His contributions included developing a new brand identity and positioning, securing ICC sponsorships, building a digital marketing ecosystem, and launching the company’s e-commerce platform.
Earlier in his career, Malani held leadership roles at organisations including JSW Steel, Castrol, and Asian Paints, where he was involved in scaling retail businesses and driving brand-building initiatives.
Known for his insights into retail and digital transformation, Malani is widely regarded as a voice within the marketing and business community, particularly around the shift toward digital-first business models. His appointment aligns with Aerem Solutions’ strategy to strengthen its customer engagement approach within the evolving green energy ecosystem.
