Schbang has announced the appointment of Aditya Nagavekar as its new Head of Strategy. With over a decade of experience across renowned agencies and global brands, Nagavekar steps into the role with a mandate to shape integrated strategy and planning across Schbang’s growing client portfolio.

In his new role, he will collaborate closely with Schbang’s creative, digital, and business teams to align consumer insight with brand purpose and deliver strategic solutions that drive business outcomes.
Nagavekar brings a rich and diverse background to the table. Prior to joining Schbang, he spent over six years at Ogilvy, most recently as Vice President – Strategic Planning, where he led brand thinking across categories. From 2019 to 2023, he served as Senior Planning Director, playing a pivotal role in some of the agency’s key client mandates.
He also held the position of Senior Brand Marketing Manager at McDonald’s India, offering him a client-side perspective in the QSR segment. Earlier in his career, he cut his teeth at TBWA India, contributing to brand planning for sectors including real estate, insurance, and automotive.
Nagavekar has also worked with Ogilvy Africa, JWT, and Mudra Communications, contributing to strategic campaigns for leading names in personal care, telecom, beverages, and finance.
His wide-ranging experience across markets and industries is expected to add a fresh layer of insight and integrated thinking to Schbang’s strategy practice.
