The Hindu has announced the appointment of Druhi Sethi as its new Head of Digital Marketing, effective January 2026. Based in Bengaluru, Sethi will be responsible for driving the publication’s digital marketing strategy, with a strong focus on audience growth, engagement, and strengthening brand presence across digital platforms.
Sethi shared the news of her appointment through a LinkedIn post, stating “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Head of Digital Marketing at The Hindu!”
Before joining The Hindu, she was associated with Social Beat as Associate Vice President – Strategic Account Management from June 2024 to December 2025. In this capacity, she led strategic account management, spearheaded AI-led initiatives, and supported business development efforts, operating out of the agency’s Bengaluru office.
Earlier, she served as Associate Vice President – Growth & Client Success at Social Beat between May 2022 and June 2024. Alongside heading the Bengaluru office, she led the strategy function across India, championed inclusivity and culture initiatives, and worked on key brand launches. One of her notable achievements during this period was the launch of Niyo Global in India, which recorded an 850% surge in conversions within its first quarter.
From March 2021 to April 2022, Sethi was Head – Brand & Social Media India at NP Digital, where she established social media as a dedicated vertical. She introduced structured processes for strategy development, content planning, and performance reporting, and scaled operations across more than 10 brands with a team of 15 professionals.
Her earlier roles at Social Beat include serving as Senior Manager – Digital Marketing from December 2020 to February 2021, where she handled in-house events, webinars, and growth initiatives for internal products such as Influencer.in, which scaled to an annual gross revenue of $1.5 million.
Between July 2019 and December 2020, Sethi worked as Manager – Digital Marketing at Social Beat, leading high-impact and award-winning campaigns including Hands Up To Help for the Murugappa Group. She also managed performance marketing initiatives for clients such as Casagrand, Dr. Reddy’s, and Hyundai.
She began her professional career at Social Beat as Senior Specialist – Social Media from March 2018 to June 2019, delivering digital and social media campaigns for brands including Dr. Reddy’s (Celevida) and Ashok Leyland’s Paatujhesalaam.
